Burke mountain VT aerial view with Presidential Range

The Burke experience is one that resonates with the Northeast Kingdom all around it — natural, uncrowded, unhurried, a family-friendly atmosphere where the worries are few. While the 3267' Burke is plenty of mountain (54 trails/glades, three terrain parks and 265 acres of pure skiing/boarding magic) it is decidedly un-mega-resort. And those who have discovered this rare bit of authentic ski mountain like it that way.

Jay Peak Now that Jay Peak has purchased Burke, the experience has even more depth and value for those who live here. Burke is getting better, with the new owner committing to a $108 million-plus investment in Burke, with snowmaking upgrades and four new rustic, lodge-style hotels modeled after the Tram Haus Lodge at Jay Peak. Plus, the new combo season pass gives skiers unlimited access to both Jay and Burke at great rates.

Burke's new owners plan to build new hotel lodging, modeled after lodging (pictured here) in place at Jay Peak.
